CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION
The 2010 Roxborough Park Election Committee provides this Certificate of Election to the Roxborough Park Board of Directors.

The Election Committee was charged with conducting an election on the candidates for Board of Directors for 2010:

  • The Election was conducted in accordance with the Protective Covenants and the Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Roxborough Park Foundation.

  • Katherine Murphy, webmaster for the Foundation, conducted the vote count in secret.  Her statement is attached.

  • The two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will serve for three years.


The election was concluded at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, with the following results:

Total Qualified Ballots Received:  420         

Total Votes Not Qualified: 0

Audrey Brodt: 154        

Pam Page: 328        

Jerry L. Thomas: 294

   

The Election Committee therefore certifies to the Board of Directors that the two candidates with the highest votes were approved by the Members of the Roxborough Park Foundation to serve on the Board of Directors.

The Lights of Winter Photography Exhibit

The Art Committee of Roxborough Park Foundation Presents...

The Lights of Winter Photography Exhibit will be held from February 14 to March 5, 2010 in the Roxborough Park Community Center.

Opening Gala Reception: Sunday, February 14 from 3-5 pm come to view photographs from our residents and to enjoy light refreshments. A DVD made especially for our show will be for sale and Judy Jones will play dulcimer music.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Roxborough Park Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

ImageThe egg hunt will start promptly at 10:00 a.m., so please arrive early! Parking will be an issue, so try to carpool with your neighbors! We will have the hunt no matter the weather, rain, shine or 3 feet of snow!

Have the kids bring along a basket to collect their eggs in! The Easter Bunny will come and pass out gifts to the kids, so be sure to bring your camera. The cost is $7.00 per child and includes, one dozen eggs stuffed with candy and prizes, one piñata per age group, a gift from the Easter Bunny, and prizes for games! There will be a cake walk, so please bring a baked good (cake, cupcakes, cookies, etc…)

Make checks payable to Roxborough Park Foundation, and drop your registration form and check at the Event’s committee box on the north side of the guard shack, or at the Community Center!

The mom’s egg stuffing party will be at Roxborough Community Center on Thursday, April 1 @ 7:00 p.m. Bring an appetizer or bottle of wine to pass!

We will need volunteers to help hide the eggs at 8:00 a.m. the morning of the hunt. Can’t wait to see everyone!

Keith Worley, Forestor and Consultant says, "[The Reno fire is] pretty spectacular to say the least. This shows how a standard suburban subdivision can be at risk... regarding the realities of wildfire behavior under high wind conditions."
